A verb is the name for a doing word. Here are some examples: jumping, running, kicking, punching and kissing.
Types of VerbsEdit
Regular verbs: are verbs that follow a pattern, e.g. the man walked, the man is walks, the man plans to walk.
Irregular verbs: don't follow a pattern, e.g. the man bought a cake, the man is buying a cake, the man is going to buy a cake.
